Amidst the fast paced shopping district, among the sounds of construction and talking and commerce, came the beautiful angelic voice of a street musician. This sweet voice slid into my ears and wrapped its self around my soul, warmed me and shielded me from the biting cold here that would break the strongest of wills. It was auditory perfection and a refuge from the unforgiving loneliness that has plagued my heart the last few days and made me feel like I was home again. I found it hard not to cry thinking about how far I am from all the things I love so dearly.
